Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 7 September 2026
Stride Fitness and Mobility Clinic (“Stride Podiatry”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website www.stridepodiatry.in. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses our website, requests an appointment, purchases our footwear, or contacts us.
This policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using our website you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to provide our services to you.
Information you give us
- Appointment requests — your name, phone number, email address (optional), the reason for your visit, and your preferred clinic, date and time.
- Footwear orders — your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and the details of what you ordered (product, colour, size and quantity).
- Enquiries — your name, contact details and the content of any message you send us through the website, by email or by phone.
- Clinical information — details you choose to share about your foot or ankle condition when requesting an appointment. This is sensitive personal information and is handled with additional care, as described in section 4.
Payment information
Online payments are processed by Razorpay, a payment gateway authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. Your card, UPI or net-banking details are entered directly with Razorpay and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment and a transaction reference. Razorpay’s handling of your payment details is governed by its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you visit and how long you spend on them, and the website that referred you.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 5.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To arrange and confirm your appointment, including calling you to confirm the details.
- To process, pack and deliver your footwear order, and to send you order and shipping updates.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.

We do not send marketing messages unless you have asked to receive them, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us.
3. How We Share Your Information
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the clinic and the website, and only to the extent needed for them to do so:
- Payment processing — Razorpay, to take and confirm your payment.
- Delivery — courier and logistics partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
- Website hosting and data storage — secure cloud infrastructure providers that host the website and store our booking and order records.
- Email delivery — the email service used to send your confirmations and updates.
- Analytics — website analytics tools that help us understand how the site is used (see section 5).
These providers are bound to protect your information and may use it only for the purpose we have engaged them for. We may also disclose information where required by law, by a court order, or to protect our rights, our patients or the public.
4. Clinical Information
Any health-related information you share with us is treated as sensitive personal information. It is used solely for the purpose of assessing and treating you, is accessible only to the clinical and administrative staff involved in your care, and is never used for marketing or shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site working — for example, keeping you signed in to a secure area. Analytics cookies, such as those set by Google Analytics, help us understand which pages are useful and how visitors move through the site; this information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect how parts of the website work.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out above, and for as long as we are required to by law. Appointment and clinical records are retained in line with applicable medical record-keeping requirements. Order and payment records are retained in line with tax and accounting law. Information that is no longer needed is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls that limit who can view your records, and secure, access-restricted storage. Payment details are handled entirely by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Raise a concern or grievance about how your information has been handled.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer using the details at the end of this policy. We will respond within the time required by law.
9. Children
Our website is not directed at children. Where we treat a patient under the age of 18, we collect their information from, and with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website contains links to third-party sites and services, including our payment gateway, map providers and social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
